Karera Fujita ist eine in Deutschland tätige Sopranistin mit Schwerpunkt auf Neuer Musik und erweiterten Vokaltechniken. Sie ist eine gefragte Interpretin zeitgenössischer Vokalmusik und wirkte an zahlreichen Uraufführungen neuer Werke mit.
Ihren Bachelor im Fach Gesang absolvierte sie an der Aichi University of the Arts in Japan, bevor sie ihr Studium in Deutschland fortsetzte und an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart zwei Masterabschlüsse erwarb (Neue Musik Gesang bei Prof. Angelika Luz sowie Liedgestaltung bei Prof. Cornelis Witthoefft).
2019 debütierte sie als Mia in der deutschen Erstaufführung von Gerhard Stäblers Musiktheater Simon am Schauburg-Theater München. Als Interpretin zeitgenössischer Musik war sie u. a. als Sopranistin in einer Produktion des Ensemble PHACE beim aspekte-Festival Salzburg beteiligt und konzertiert regelmäßig in Europa und Japan.
